CAPABILITIES

  • Restoration of thread on oil country tubular goods as per GOST (API) and Premium threads – the diameter of machined pipe is 60 to 520 mm;
  • All types of restoration: recut, reface, rebevel;
  • Manufacturing of subs, shoes, float collars, ball valves and other drilling equipment (order to be formed in advance*);
  • Alignment of threaded connections;
  • Spray-type phosphating (manganese/zinc);
  • Inspection and nondestructive testing, Category 1 to 5 as per DS-1. (Visual inspection of the pipe barrel and connections, measurement of the pipe barrel OD, ultrasonic measurement of pipe wall thickness (multiple points), magnetic particle inspection of connection and upset areas, electromagnetic inspection of the pipe barrel).

  • No vibration: the cutting tool rotates around the fixed pipe allowing machining of pipes and accessories of any length and configuration;
  • Possibility of repair and restoration of drilling tools and equipment with diameters from 60 mm to 520 mm;
  • Hydraulic pipe feed minimizes personnel involvement;
  • Rotor control unit Fanuc 32i (Japan) controls cutting tool in three planes and provides machining precision up to 0.01 mm;
  • Turning shop is designed for use in any geographical and climatic conditions; possibility of standalone use for a period of three months of a year and more;
  • All processes are standardized as per requirements of API Q1 and DS-1;
  • The shop is prepared for operation in winter conditions with outside temperature up to -45°C and wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s;
  • Operation in 2 shifts of 12 hours;
  • 24/7 engineering support for Customers: our highly qualified personnel will provide assistance in questions related to drilling tools and accessories. We will help with selection of optimal torque for making up, compositions, selection of threaded connections and their compatibility, selection of steel grades and strength groups for subs and other equipment, and other questions. Emergency and urgent subs are manufactured within 24 hours providing serious reduction of non-productive time.
